Jesse's Boat

My boat is made of polystyrene this makes it very light for it to float on the water. The boat is a racing boat and a war carrier boat too so inside are war things. I know that polystyrene floats so my boat will float because polystyrene is very light.

This pirate has an eye patch because he had a fight with other pirates. This pirate also has two scary tattoos. My pirate has a dirty untidy beard and a black and red boat. The pirate also has a scar on his other eye. The best thing about my pirate is that he's transparent because he is very clever. My pirate has also stolen 900,000,000 pieces of gold from 10 pirates because he's see through.

Jesse explains The Water Cycle

You need the sun to heat up the water this is called evaporation. Next the gas which is the water goes up where it's very cold and it turns into little rain drops and forms a cloud and it is called condensation. Some of the little rain drops are still in the cloud and they bump into each other and form a big one and they drop as rain, it is called precipitation. When the rain falls it collects into a river or an ocean this is called collection. It goes around in a circle this is all called the water cycle.

This is what a polluted pond looks like...

A polluted pond has brown muck and old dead plants.  There is poisonous water because humans have dumped all their smelly rubbish into the pond, like old dog bones and old empty spray cans. All the plants are dead because of the polluted smell and dirty water. The sludge is thick and slimy.

In a polluted pond there is lots of stinky rubbish, like an old shoe or a can of paint or a black round tyre. I would keep the pond clean. I don't like polluted ponds, I like clean ponds!

Jesse's Robot

My robot has suction pads. The suction pads help my robot from tripping. My robot has a screen to tell us things. The robot's head is made from metal and it's body is made from aluminium. My robot runs by electricity. The robot has three buttons the first button makes it do your homework for you. The next button glow in the dark and the last button builds for you. I think robots are more clever than us.

Old Toys and New Toys

Last week we sorted old and new toys in our topic. We thought of words to describe the old and new toys. Today we started to write our own definitions.

Old toys are made of wood, they are hand made. New toys are made of plastic. They are bright colours.

Our trip to MOTAT

MOTAT was cool. We saw a carriage with a horse pulling it. We went on a tram and Sina wore the 

tram drivers hat.

Yesterday I went on a a bus to MOTAT. My favourite thing was the ride on the tram and looking in the church too. We were all in groups. I saw some fire engines and an old big tram. After a while it was lunchtime. So, we all went back to have lunch. Then, me and my class went to learn about old toys.
