The pirate has missing teeth. He has dirty fingers and nails because he does not wash. It's the same with his teeth! He has long hairy hair because he does not brush his hair. He has an eye patch on the left eye that was damaged in a fight. He has stubble because he does not wash his face. His tattoo looks like a stamp. He also has a wooden leg, that was because somebody tried to shoot him down.

The Water Cycle. By Evan

We need the sun and the sun heats up the water. The changing of water into a gas is called Evaporation. The change of water vapour into water droplets is called Condensation. When the clouds get full and heavy, it starts to rain. This is called Precipitation. When it starts to rain, it rains everywhere like on the hills or falls on the rivers or the sea, this is called Collection.

This is what a polluted pond looks like...

A polluted pond has brown muck and old dead plants.  There is poisonous water because humans have dumped all their smelly rubbish into the pond, like old dog bones and old empty spray cans. All the plants are dead because of the polluted smell and dirty water. The sludge is thick and slimy.

In a polluted pond there is lots of stinky rubbish, like an old shoe or a can of paint or a black round tyre. I would keep the pond clean. I don't like polluted ponds, I like clean ponds!

A polluted pond has unclean water because of the rubbish that's in it. The air is dirty and theres poisonous sewerage coming out of a pipe. On the land next to the pond, there is brown slippery muck and tyres are in the water. Some of the fish are sad or even dead. The fish don't want a polluted pond because it's smelly and dirty and it's got cans in it too.

My sock has big huge eyes. It's eyes can move. It has a bright tongue and it is long. It's eyes are googly so it can see meat. It quickly pokes it's tongue out of it mouth. It has a blue and orange tongue.

This is Evan's Robot

My robot has lightening on it's head. It uses electricity in his lightening head to give it power. If you push my robot's first button, he will fight and if you push another button he will shoot his power. The last button will make him fly into the sky. I think robots are fantastic because some can fly.

Old Toys and New Toys

Last week we sorted old and new toys in our topic. We thought of words to describe the old and new toys. Today we started to write our own definitions.

Old toys are made of wood, they are hand made. New toys are made of plastic. They are bright colours.
